This book is set in a futuristic version of Earth. The main character, Wade Watts, lives in a dystopian society. Poverty and Hunger run rampant and everyone lives in a trailer park. But a device was created to turn that create each users own personal utopia. This device is called the OASIS. Its a virtual reality console that is connected to the entire world. Everyone uses it for a different purpose, but they all use it together. More time is spent logged into the OASIS than is spent in the real world. A similarity that i can see is how many people spend most of their lives in front of a computer or TV.

its gonna be here bruh chill. im finishing it on another doc then im gonna copy it over.
My opportunity for working in a biotech facility was ruined by my own communication skills. After being cancelled on, I chose to work at an I.T. position at Cartified Folder Display cervice. I spent the bulk of the day updationg outdated computer systems. I did this by plugging in a flash drive with the Information for the software already on it. Once the main screen was set i put in a CD that helped get the system running. Then id check the computer for updates every 15 minutes after transitioning between school work. After this we looked in the server rooms while my dad showed me what all the wires connected. i did not like this job much because its sitting at a desk all day on a computer. I feel like my job needs tohave fresh air or at least some sort of puzzles to keep my brain active. So i would not do this job.
I was not allowed to go to the trip. So i got to spend the few days in an office pretending to do work. It was probably one of the worst experiences of my life and I never want it to happen again. I hate the ninth grade wing, it smells like cheese.
I am not planning on going to college, but if i were the thing id be most excited for is to finally be away from my family. Ive been trying to that for years but i could never be gone for too long without being in some sort of trouble. So id be excited to have that freedom. I am most concerned about how i would afford this. College is stupidly expensive. Its rediculous and not fair to poor people like me. I could get scholarships but it wouldnt eliminate the stupid price, it would just reduce it a bit. I am interested in some sort of engineering or technical tradeschool. I like working with my hands and and i love knowing how techical things function. Id hope to go out of state. California is expensive, ugly, dry, hot, and full of terrible drivers. Id want to live somewhere cheap, cold, and pretty. James Shaw Jr. was in a local wafflehouse as a gunman entered the building. As the gunman started taking shots, james hid. but after hearing the shooting stop, due to an empty clip, james wrestled the gun out of this unknow mans hands. While doing so, James burned his hand on the muzzle of the still hot assault rifle. while in an interview james stated that he did it purely out of selfish intent. He says "if i was going to die, he was going to have to work for it". Although he confessed to the intent of his own actions, victims of the shooting still call him a hero. he saved dozens of lives. A question i have after reading this is why didnt he take the credit for saving all the lives? no one would know any better?
Sourse:www.cnn.com/2018/04/22/us/waffle-house-shooting-hero-tennessee/index.html The country i had for the worlds fair was Switzerland. I had the privilage of having Libby in my group. We found out that switzerland is a neutral country that hasn't been involved in war for hundreds of years. It has no enemies unless you count exports.
Libby and I decided to recreate the Swiss Army Knife, or Offiziersmesser, and display it at our exhebition. Our rough draft was made of four pieces of cardboard and two thumbtacks. Taking that into consideration, I am very proud of what our final product was. We used a laser cutter to make the base parts of our tool pieces. These pieces include a knife, a serrated knife, a bottle opener, and a pick. we then used a table sander to craft the outside handles. We then hand sanded each individual piece to get the shape we desired. We drilled in holes and screwed it all together for our final touch. At our exhebition we were handicapped by the placement of our table. We were in the very back so very few people got to visit our wonderful table. The people in the front had free food and handouts to give and recievend bountiful tickets from visitors. All we had was a handmade knife and our words to get tickets. And by the time people got to us, they didnt have aby tickets left to give us. So i am very proud that our table got about fifty tickets. That just goes to show how well we sold our countries attributes. And all of our research really payed off because of that. Libby and i were amazing partners. We had struggles at the start, trying to share the work. Untill we figured out our strong points. Libby was good at the writing, i was good at the hands on work. She wrote out most of our research into a readable form, whilst i made the swiss army knife and drew the posters. I think once we figured that out, we became an unstopable duo and i look forward to working with her again. Drug usage in sports has always been a problem. While often controversial, athletes have confessed over interviews to their usage of medical cannabis before games. Cannabis is not a preformance enhancing drug. In fact it may do the exact opposite. So why has the recent legalization of this drug popularized it within the proffessional Basketball leauge? Well, many say it soothes their nerves before they preform before large audiences and often over live television. My questions are what will the NBA do about this? It is obvious that drugs should not be allowed to alter the outcome of a game in wich the athletes are payed. But does cannabis make the outcomes of these games unfair?

They are all being hunted down by the IOI. Wade fights to find the third key and win the prize. This competition is less about the prize now, and more about living in a world where the IOI doesn't win. After some struggle he wins, gets the key and reward. But as he is gaining his reward he is given an option. At the press of a button he can shut down the entire OASIS, or let it continue to bring people a VR escape. And that's pretty much it. If the story were to continue I think it'd be about his decision and how that effected the world. It would show how the world would change as people were forced out of VR and back into their broken world. Would they come together and fix it? Would riots happen due to a right and daily part of life being taken away from the world? I can't tell, but I do know there is no reason to have a sequel to this book. It comes to a perfect natural ending. With just enough resolution to leave you satisfied. Its also open ended to interpretation to keep you thinking about the book and the world that it portrays, but not so much that it feels incomplete. I see no valid reason to make this book go any further. And lastly, I would not recommend this book to a friend. Its a kinda weird book that requires an acquired taste to enjoy. Its also a little bit poorly written and maybe even dumb at times. But I enjoyed it either way. I liked how simple it was.
Scientists believe they have found a way to revolutionize communication. Communication obviously goes two ways, but with this discovery we may eliminate the time messages take to travel. Using Photon Particles, a particle that can simultaneously in two places, Scientists can input binary codes into the sending particle and out of the receiving particle. This series of ones ans zeros can be binded to keys and used like our average day to day cell phones. Now there is a bit of a grey area when it comes to doing that. How could we possible put a photon particle in a cell phone? scientists still don't know. But if the figure this out the entire world will change. The introduction of Photon Particles in everyday use could soon be put into all sorts of ideas. I truly believe this is the step we need to take in order to get to the stereotypical image of the future.
Wade has spent the last few chapters looking for the second hint. once he gets all three he can go fight for the prize. almost all the players of the OASIS have received the first hint by now. Wade has been receiving sponsors left and right. He has quickly gone from poor to comfortably well off. He moved out of his aunt's laundry room and into his own apartment. If I were to be placed in this book I would obviously befriend the main characters. Not because i like them but because id be able to mooch off of their success. I probably would get along just fine with everyone. And I don't believe id be bothered by the IOI blowing up my house and killing my family. I think the main characters are just soft. Family shouldn't be priority over a multi billion dollar prize.
